Nanotechnology Meets Cellular Analysis—Qdot conjugates in flow cytometry and imaging

Qdot nanocrystals fluoresce in a way that’s completely different from traditional fluorophores. Their intrinsic brightness is often many times that observed for organic fluorophores, and their photostability is many orders of magnitude greater. These extraordinary fluorescence properties can be attributed to their unique structure and composition.
