Can I use other nucleic acid stains with CellEvent Caspase-3/7 Detection Reagents (Cat. Nos. C10430, C10431, C10432, C10433, C10434)?
We do not recommend using other nucleic acid stains with CellEvent Caspase-3/7 Detection Reagents (Cat. Nos. C10430, C10431, C10432, C10433, C10434). The application of other nucleic acid stains may result in inadequate detection of the caspase-cleaved reagent. Other nucleic acid stains might limit binding of the CellEvent Caspase-3/7 Green or Red Detection Reagent (competition) or spectrally interact with the reagents (quenching, FRET, etc.).

Upon cleavage by caspases, can the CellEvent Caspase-3/7 Detection Reagents (Cat. Nos. C10430, C10431, C10432, C10433, C10434) also stain RNA in the cytoplasm?
It is possible for CellEvent Caspase-3/7 Detection Reagents (Cat. Nos. C10430, C10431, C10432, C10433, C10434) to stain RNA in the cytoplasm upon cleavage by caspases, but the extent of RNA staining should be minimal.
