Flow cytometry analysis of eIF5 in SiHa cells using eIF5 Monoclonal Antibody (2F13C4) (Product # MA5-49276), shown in overlay histogram (blue line). To facilitate intracellular staining, cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with permeabilization buffer. The cells were blocked with 10% normal goat serum, and incubated with the primary antibody (1 μg/1x10^6 cells) for 30 min at 20°C. Adding 0.2 mL of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 µg/mL.
Positive Control - WB: human K562 whole cell, human HepG2 whole cell, human PC-3 whole cell, human RT4 whole cell. ICC/IF: PC-3 cell. Flow: SiHa cell.|Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Target Information
Probable E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase which accepts ubiquitin from an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme in the form of a thioester and then directly transfers the ubiquitin to targeted substrates. May be required for development of the head mesenchyme and neural tube closure.
