Western Blot analysis of TREM2 was performed in mouse BV-2 microglia (lanes 1 and 4), human U-87 MG glioblastoma (lanes 2 and 5) and human THP-1 monocytic leukemia (lanes 3 and 6) cell line lysates. Lane 1-3: TREM2 (extracellular) Antibody (Product # PA5-111856) at a dilution of 1:200. Lane 4-6: TREM2 (extracellular) Antibody preincubated with the negative control antigen.

Reconstitute antibody with 50 µL of double distilled water (DDW). The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4 degrees C for up to 1 week. For longer periods, small aliquots should be stored at -20 degrees C. Avoid multiple freezing and thawing. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10000 x g 5 min).

Target Information
TREM2 is a membrane protein that forms a receptor signaling complex with TYROBP. The encoded protein may be involved in chronic inflammation by triggering the production of constitutive inflammatory cytokines. Defects in this gene are a cause of polycystic lipomembranous osteodysplasia with sclerosing leukoencephalopathy (PLOSL).
