HIF-2 alpha Antibody (PA1-32216) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescent analysis of HIF-2 alpha showing staining in the nucleus of U-87 MG cells. U-87 MG cells CoCl2 treated with 200µM CoCl2 for 24 hrs, and add 10µM MG132 for 3 hrs before fixation and were fixed in 2% paraformaldehyde/culture medium at 37oC for 30 min and stained using a HIF-2 alpha polyclonal antibody (Product # PA1-32216) diluted at 1:1000. Blue: Hoechst 33342 staining.

PA1-32216 detects HIF2 alpha from mouse, human, fish and rat samples.
PA1-32216 has been successfully used in immunohistochemistry and Western blot applications.
The PA1-32216 immunogen is synthetic peptide derived from the mouse/human HIF-2 alpha.
Target Information
HIF-2 alpha (Epas1) is a transcription factor involved in the induction of genes regulated by oxygen. HIF-2 alpha contains a basic-helix-loop-helix domain protein dimerization domain as well as a domain found in proteins in signal transduction pathways which respond to oxygen levels. It also regulates the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) expression and seems to be implicated in the development of blood vessels and the tubular system of the lungs. Mutations in this gene are associated with erythrocytosis familial type 4.
