FIGURE: 1 / 2
IHC(P) analysis shows positive staining of GPR101 in neuroendocrine cells of human small intestine.
WB analysis shows GPR101 in glyco-protein enriched fractions from mock transfected or GPR101 overexpressed 293 cells.
GPR101 exists in different glycosylated forms.
G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs, or GPRs) contain 7 transmembrane domains and transduce extracellular signals through heterotrimeric G proteins. Expression of GPR101 has been documented by Northern analysis in human hypothalamus, caudate, and putamen but not in thalamus, hippocampus, frontal cortex, or pons.
