Western Blot analysis of AspRS in extracts of various cell lines using AspRS Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-96302) at a dilution of 1:1000. A HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) secondary antibody was used at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST.

Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the class-II aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase family. It is a mitochondrial enzyme that specifically aminoacylates aspartyl-tRNA. Mutations in this gene are associated with leukoencephalopathy with brainstem and spinal cord involvement and lactate elevation (LBSL).
