ATP5J2 Antibody (PA5-103109) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of ATP5J2 in Hela cells. The samples were fixed with PFA and permeabilized in 0.1% Triton X-100, then blocked in 10% serum for 45 minutes at 25°C. Samples were incubated with ATP5J2 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-103109) and mouse anti-beta tubulin antibody for 1 hour at 37°C. An AlexaFluor594 conjugated goat anti-rabbit IgG(H+L) (Red) and an AlexaFluor488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG(H+L) (Green) were used as the secondary antibodies. The nuclear counter stain is DAPI (blue).

Target Information
ATP5J2 is part of the complex F0 domain of the mitochondrial ATP synthase. This produces ATP from ADP in the presence of a proton gradient across the membrane which is generated by electron transport complexes of the respiratory chain. It is composed of two complexes: the soluble catalytic core, F1, and the membrane-spanning component, Fo, which comprises the proton channel. ATP5J2 encodes the f subunit of the Fo complex. There are 2 isoforms produced by alternative splicing.
