Western blot analysis of ADO using ADO Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-78733). Electrophoresis was performed on a 5-20% SDS-PAGE gel at 70V (Stacking gel)/90V (Resolving gel) for 2-3 hours. Target Information
Human thiol dioxygenases include cysteine dioxygenase (CDO; MIM 603943) and cysteamine (2-amino ethane thiol) dioxygenase (ADO; EC 1.13.11.19). CDO adds 2 oxygen atoms to free cysteine, whereas ADO adds 2 oxygen atoms to free cysteamine to form hypotaurine.
