Interleukin-7 is a glycoprotein involved in the regulation of lymphopoiesis. The response of cells to IL-7 is dependent on the
presence of the interleukin 7 receptor (IL7R); the active receptor is an alpha/gamma chain heterodimer. Recombinant Murine sIL-7 Receptor a Fc is a 51.0 kDa protein containing 452 amino
acid residues consisting of the extracellular domain of the mature sequence, as well as a 230 C-terminal Fc region linked by two
glycines.
Interleukin 7 (IL-7) is a hematopoietic cytokine that is constitutively produced by stromal cells from the bone marrow and thymus. IL-7 signals through the IL-7R to promote the differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells to lymphoid precursor cells, which give rise to T cells, B cells, and natural killer cells.
