This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-59843. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
SNRP70 contains 1 RRM (RNA recognition motif) domain and mediates the splicing of pre-mRNA by binding to the loop I region of U1-snRNA. Western blots using two different antibodies against two unique regions of this protein target confirm the same apparent molecular weight in our tests.
