Highest antigen sequence indentity to the following orthologs: Mouse (82%), Rat (82%).
This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-53557. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
PLBD2 (Phospholipase B Domain Containing 2) is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with PLBD2 include Gallbladder Papillomatosis and Gm1-Gangliosidosis, Type Iii. Gene Ontology (GO) annotations related to this gene include hydrolase activity. An important paralog of this gene is PLBD1.
