This recombinant protein control fragment may be used for blocking experiments with the corresponding antibody, PA5-55275. In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. Pre-incubate the antibody-protein control fragment mixture for 30 min at room temperature.
Target Information
Scaffold subunit of some HBO1 complexes, which have a histone H4 acetyltransferase activity (PubMed:16387653). Acts as a E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase mediating the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target protein histone demethylase KDM1A (PubMed:25018020).
